INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE CALIBRATION
MoldingCal is a product of our parent company that provides Injection Molding Machine Repair Service. We truly understand what it takes to make a molding machine run right. We have spent a lot of time developing our tools to quickly and precisely capture injection molding machine performance. Our equipment reads data off the molding machine from multiple axes at the same time and outputs user friendly data tables, graphs and charts. We are aware that it is important to minimize down time for our clients, while keeping high precision of data capture. Our main point is to reduce the time that it takes to perform calibration.
We Check:
Barrel Temperatures
We check and verify Thermocouples for Barrel Heating systems with calibrated Hot Well Testers or Infra Red Cameras.
Injection Pressure
Injection Pressure is tested with a Melt Pressure kit, that displays the pressure inside of the barrel. On hydraulic machines, we verify injection pressure with calibrated pressure transducer. The result is compared to the machine reading.
Injection Position
Injection position is verified with our proprietary developed string encoders or via inside micrometers and vernier calipers, when applicable.
Injection Velocity
Injection velocity is verified with our proprietary tool that captures the displacement live as the axis moves.
Platen Square and Clamp Displacement
Verified with our calibrated measurement devices such as inside micrometers, vernier calipers, and our proprietary string gauges.
Injection moulding machine
Tonnage
Tonnage is captured with digital strain gauges at different set points.
Ejector Displacement
Verified with our calibrated measurement devices such as inside micrometers, vernier calipers, and our proprietary string gauges. The result is compared to the machine reading
